Károly Dobos

On 8 December, Károly Dobos (1902 - 2004), the founder and first leader of the Hungarian Lepramissiio, would have been 115 years old! We remember him with respect and love, who was an instrument of God's work in this world. We are grateful that at the age of 72 he obediently took upon himself the Call he received in the most difficult of times: in 1974: to support, heal, settle the lot of the most oppressed of the world, to preach the Gospel! Charles Dobos saw the unseen (Hebrews 11:1): he became a fervent advocate for the cause of lepers for the rest of his life, and because of his old age, he never once met a leper! But his love and obedience to God brought them as close to him as if they had been sitting beside him...

Bless his memory!
