Who are we?

Founded in Hungary in 1974, this Christian charity works to heal the world's most destitute lepers, to restore their lives, to restore their dignity, to uplift themselves, their families and their communities, in the framework of the 148-year-old International Leprosy Mission, in obedience to Jesus' command to " .... cleanse the lepers!" (Gospel of Matthew 10:8)

We are proud to be a member of the largest leprosy organisation in the world since 2002, The Leprosy Mission International (www.leprosymission.org), founded in 1874 and currently consisting of 33 member countries, the only one in Eastern Europe so far!
